hello~ just wanted to say I'll be gone for awhile for thanksgiving week =)
about Mon.-Fri./ Sat. hope everyone will have a wonderful thanksgiving!

and here have a quick sketch with that gravy XD

While sketching out on SAI I noticed something...

My way of drawing heads....it....it has ALOT of lines! (does that make sense ha if not you can stop reading right here XD)

I mean that my faces tend to need two lines, one for the eyes and one for the jaw AND I always use a circle too for the base >.> *it can look pretty busy without much effort*

I dont know I just really dont want to have to have so many lines for the rough draft part. Inking is quite a nuisance if you beleive it. I kinda like how some start from the eyes or like just easily draw the frame of the face 0.0 aaaahh.

I watched some videos of some really popular artists drawing like that and Im just sitting there going "holy crap" must find some more ways to draw~

Anyway I do usually prefer traditional sketching cause its pretty hard on computer XD

so after testing out the watercolor brushes , which btw are very cool~, I was wondering if....by any chance you can CG in sai too?

It seems like you can pretty well which is even better ^^b (I might just completely switch over to sai in the end XD) I kinda miss the dodge tool though cause it really helped brighten areas, something I cant really do well in SAI. But none then less its a pretty all around program.

I just got this paint program- Sai- and really want to try and learn how to use it ^^
So far its pretty good at real paint strokes (something I still need to work in RL with haha)
I still had to bring it into photoshop cause there are some things you can't do in sai (like dodge) lol hopefully I will get this done today~

As you can see this story will be verrrry shojo/drama lol I hope my sense of lame humor wont
make things stupid =/

working on a winter pic for...well...the winter months!~
We had our first snow/sleet today so I figure hey I feel like I need to draw something
snowy ^^
I actually want to finish this in one day so I can feel a sense of accomplishment for once XD
